Keith “Joe” Harold Radloff, 88, of Farmersburg, Iowa died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Great River Care Center, McGregor, Iowa. 

Keith was born Sept. 16, 1927 to Louis A. and Ruth (Matthews) Radloff in Farmersburg, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Farmersburg. Keith graduated from Farmersburg High School in 1945 and joined the United States Army in 1945, served in World War II and was honorably discharged in 1947.

Keith was united in marriage with Reva Dull Adams on Dec. 17, 1950 at Reva’s parent’s home in McGregor, Iowa. Joe and his brother Dike, owned and operated Radloff Trucking and worked as a Postmaster in Farmersburg, for thirty-four years. He was also the Mayor in Farmersburg. Together with his wife, he spent twenty-nine winters in Mission, Texas. Joe was a member of the American Legion, Amvets, and St. John Lutheran Church. He was the oldest member on the Farmersburg Fire Department and EMT. Joe enjoyed Iowa State Trap Shoots, bowling, fishing, camping and playing pool.

Keith is survived by his wife, Reva Radloff of Farmersburg; three children, Brian (Sheryl) Adams of Altamont, Tenn., Dale (Jane) Radloff of Monona, Iowa and David (Monica) Radloff of Wanamingo, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Reed Radloff, Cydney (Adam) Jones, Teresa Adams, Christopher Adams, Lexie (Benjamin) Schleusner, Daniel (Alisha) Radloff, Shauna (Matthew) Meyer and Jecika Radloff; brother, Glen E. Radloff of Strawberry Point; and sister-in-law, Irene Radloff of Florence, Ala.

Keith was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Radloff in infancy; his parents, Louis and Ruth Radloff; two brothers, Carlton and Dwayne “Dike;” and one sister, Constance “Conk” Radloff.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa and one hour before services at the church on Saturday.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, Iowa with Rev. Harold McMillin as the officiant. Burial will follow at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg.

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa is helping the family with the arrangements.
