Karen K. Burgus, 64, of Wauzeka, passed away Wednesday, May 16.

 

She was born March 15, 1954, in Boscobel, the daughter of Dorothy and Lyndon Steinbach.

 

She was a retired teacher’s aide in the Wauzeka-Steuben school district. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling whenever possible, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

 

She is survived by a daughter Nina Burgus; a son Tony (Courtney) Burgus; her grandchildren Declan and Lilianna; her mother Dorothy Steinbach; and two sisters Carol and Marlene Steinbach.

 

She was preceded in death by her father Lyndon and her brother Lynn.
