Tamara “Tammy” Marie (Regenold) Kleitsch, 59, of Monona, Iowa, passed away in her home on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018. 

She was born in Independence, Iowa, on June 26, 1959, the daughter of Ronald J. and Kay F. (Mersch) Regenold.

Tammy graduated from Wapsie Valley High School in 1977, and furthered her education at Hawkeye Community College.

Tammy was united in marriage to Thomas Kleitsch in Fairbank, Iowa. They later divorced. Tammy was employed at Wal-Mart in Prairie du Chien, earning her 10-year pin this past Friday. She enjoyed being with friends, watching her favorite TV shows, and she loved her dog, Fancy. Tammy was a very thoughtful, kind and caring person to all who knew her. She will be missed.

Tammy is survived by her son, Andy, of Monona; her mother, Kay, of Cedar Falls; her two brothers, Joe (Julie) Regenold, of Readlyn, Iow,a and Marty (Dawn) Regenold, of Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Regenold; her youngest brother, Tim; and special friend, Stan Phillips.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Huckleberry’s Restaurant in Prairie du Chien, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monona, Iowa, is helping the family with arrangements.
