Two former Packers greats made their way to Grant County Saturday, speaking at Boulder Creek Campground for charity.

Gilbert Brown and Santana Dotson spoke at the Campground as a part of the Gilbert Brown Foundation which supports over 144 different Wisconsin based children’s charities. All the money raised in Wisconsin, stays in Wisconsin. The foundation helps children by promoting structure and life skills awareness, by introducing team-building skills and promoting diversity in the community.

Brown and Dotson helped raise money for the foundation Saturday by signing autographs, taking photos, holding a $1 auction and playing a coin flip game.

Brown, who was famously known as the “Gravedigger,” played 10 seasons in the NFL as a Defensive Tackle. He said, “It is great being out here. I’ve been to this area before and it’s always a fun time. My favorite part is meeting all the different people and being able to interact with the community for a great cause.”

Dotson, who played 10 seasons in the NFL as a Defensive End said, “Being able to go out on the road all across the state to help out the well being of Wisconsin is amazing.”

Brown and Dotson were teammates from 1996-99 and in 2001 and were teammates on the Packers 1996-97 Super Bowl-winning team.
