Clayton County voters chose city and school officials in an election held Tuesday, Nov. 5. This marked the first time Iowa’s city and school elections were combined — traditionally, school elections took place in September and city elections in November.

Following is a summary of unofficial results from communities and school districts in The Press readership area. Election results become official after the canvass of votes that takes place after The Press deadline.

The Commission of Elections will follow prescribed procedures for determining winners in cases where write-in votes will play a role in the outcome.  Winners will be announced  after the official canvass.
