Alan Steve Ingle, 49, of Janesville, died at his home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Born in Prairie du Chien, on June 22, 1970, Alan was the son of Steven Gunderson and Renee Ingle.

Over the years, he went to school at B.A. Kennedy, St. Gabriel’s, and later graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. On Sept. 21, 1996, Alan married Stacie Ryan at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. He was an avid Packers fan, and he had a love for gardening, especially his strawberries, tomatoes and cucumbers. He also enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and quizzing everyone about the group or artist’s name that was performing. He was always willing to help anyone with anything, and he often picked up odd jobs for a little extra cash. He loved his family very much; he adored his dog, Bella; and those who knew him will always remember his huge heart and his famous “bear hugs.”

Alan is survived by his wife, Stacie of Janesville; two children, Cody and Kelsy Ingle of Janesville; his mother, Renee Ingle of Prairie du Chien; siblings, James (Eve) Ingle of Prairie du Chien, and Valarie (Roger) Ingle of Gays Mills; nephew, Ethan Ingle of Gays Mills; niece, Ashley Ingle of Gays Mills; aunts and uncles, Sue (Ed) Heisz, Kate Heisz, Cindy (Bob) Jacobus, Steve Ingle, Deb (Dan) Noble, and Penny Hazlett; and 15 cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Maria Ingle; his great-grandparents, Mark and Juanita Ingle; and several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will follow at St. John’s Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Iosco Township. Dennis Funeral and Cremation Services, in Janesville, is handling the arrangements.
