Ronald E. Hees Jr., 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, at his residence. 

He was born on Nov. 15, 1965, in Kenosha, the son of Ronald Hees Sr. and Florence (Bryant) Miller. He worked as a carpet installer for many years. Ronald enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, boating, and was an avid outdoorsman. 

He is survived by his parents, Ronald Hees Sr. and Florence Miller; his brother, Christopher (Jennifer) Hees; sisters, Kristine Hees and Tina DeMoe; stepsister, Tammy Miller-Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. outside the Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church in Mt. Sterling, with Pastor Nile Sandean officiating. 

The family would like to thank the Seneca, Ferryville, Eastman and Gays Mills Fire Departments along with the Crawford County Sherriff’s Department for their efforts. 

The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
