Free care clinic to provide winter clothes, oil changes and spiritual offerings

Because everyone can use a little help from time to time, the annual free Community Care Clinic, sponsored by Faith Community Church in Prairie du Chien, is planned for Sept. 24-26. 

Stop by the church’s 1110 E. Cass St. location for winter clothing, oil changes by appointment only, and Bibles and prayers—all free of charge for the community. This event is designed to help meet some of the physical and spiritual needs of citizens in the Prairie du Chien area and surrounding communities.

The clothing will be available Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Oil changes, by appointment, will be scheduled Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bibles and prayers to uplift those who need it are available at all times of the care clinic. 

There will be no haircuts, family photos, massages or manicures offered at this year’s event due to the need for social distancing due to COVID-19.
