Cynthia A. Taylor
Cynthia A. Taylor, 71, of Patch Grove, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.
She was born Aug. 3, 1949, in Sparta, the daughter of William and Nancy (Huggett) Williams. Cynthia was cherished by her stepmother Dorothy. She was a 1967 graduate of Cassville High School. Cynthia married Richard Taylor on Oct. 7, 1967, in Cassville. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. Cynthia enjoyed landscaping, reading, creating beautiful flower beds, solving crossword puzzles, cooking, and was an avid seamstress. Above all, she loved to take care of her home and family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard; her sons, Jason and Aaron (Bethany) Taylor; her daughter, Mariah (Nicholas) Callan; her brothers, Clayton (Nancy) and Kevin (Donna) Williams; a sister, Lori Love; a special niece, Tammy Danielson; seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Dorothy; a brother, Timothy; and sisters, Jill Danielson and Andrea Mays.
A private memorial service will be held at the Bloomington United Methodist Church, with Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiating, and burial at a later date. The Garrity Funeral Home, of Prairie du Chien, is assisting the family.
