Larry J. Weigle, 90, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at Landmark Commons of Friendship Village in Waterloo. He was born Dec. 7, 1931, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, the son of John and Alberta Miller Weigle.

Donald Wayne Mueller, 87, of West Union, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at Stoney Brook in West Union. Donald was born in Boone on Aug. 30, 1934, to Elaine (Finch) and Ernest Mueller.

Lucy Rodenberg Anderson

Lucy Rodenberg Anderson, 81, of McGregor, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1940, in Prairie du Chien, Crawford County, Wis., to Mary Elizabeth (Valley) Kellogg and Raymond Kellogg. Lucy was born and raised in Prairie du Chien and graduated from the PDC High School in 1957. She married Ben Rodenberg in September 1957 and they lived in the Marquette and McGregor area until they divorced in 1975. Ben moved from the area and died in 1987. Lucy stayed in the area to raise their six children. The Chamber of Commerce awarded Lucy two annual “Volunteer of the Year Awards” and a “Superior Volunteer Service Award” in 2010.

Eileen Louise (Fette) Peterson, 87, of Gunder, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at the Elkader Care Center. She was born July 28, 1934, in Clayton County, to Albert and Rosina (Glawe) Fette. She attended St. Olaf Elementary School, transferred to Elkader and graduated with the Class of 1952.

Jesse A. Jarman

Jesse Allan Jarman, 78, of Edgewood, formerly of Strawberry Point, died on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home surrounded by his family. He was born on Sept. 15, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Joe and Bessie “Betty” (Allen) Jarman, and foster son of Clifford and Vadah Gilpen. Jesse attended grade school in Oklahoma City, where at the age of 8 he sold doughnuts from door to door before school and picked cotton after school. When turning 13, he caddied at a local golf course. Jesse was a 1961 graduate of U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City, where he was on the wrestling and cross country teams.

Ronald E. Ingham

Ronald Edward Ingham, age 82, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at home with his family by his side after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 30, 1939, in La Crosse, Wis., the son of James and Mary Eleanor (Crowley) Ingham. He attended schools in Boscobel, Madison and Prairie du Chien, and spent much of his youth on the Ingham farm in Seneca, Wis., where he learned the value of hard work and grit. He also survived a difficult bout with polio and the loss of his father as a teenager.
