Prairie du Chien shut out visiting Dodgeville 7-0 in an SWC baseball game Friday afternoon.
Prairie took a 1-0 lead after one complete inning.
Prairie erupted for 5 big runs in the bottom of the fourth to increase the margin to 6-0.
Prairie scored again in the fifth and held Dodgeville the rest of the way to earn the victory.
The Blackhawks improved to 3-0 in conference action. Dodgeville fell to 1-1.
Ryan Garrity fanned 2 and walked 1 in five innings for the win.
Dylan Yeomans was 2x4 with a triple. Garrity was 3x3. Brandon Check was 2x2. Peyton Hall was 2x3.
