Three competitors run along South Beaumont Road in the Prairie du Chien Half Marathon Saturday morning. The event also included a 5K run/walk. All of the participants, sponsors, and volunteers are greatly appreciated by race organizers. Overall half marathon winners were Steve Slade, of Appleton, 1:24.28; and Amber Uhlenhake, of Spring Valley, 1:31.29. Overall 5K winners were Darren Standorf, of Elk Mound, 18:47; and Britta Rotering of Trempealeau, 22:03. (Photos by Ted Pennekamp)
