Tracy Kemlin
Tracy Lee Kemling, age 57, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Tracy was born January 20, 1961 in Elkader, Iowa, the daughter of Paul Richard and Marginell (Breitsprecher) Hansel. She lived in Elkader until moving to Cedar Rapids where she attended school. She later received her GED while living in Duluth, Minnesota as well as her CNA certification. Tracy moved to Red Oak, Iowa, in 1984 and was a CNA at Murphy Memorial Hospital. She then worked at Parker Hannifin where she met Terry Kemling. They were united in marriage on July 2, 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska. Tracy then started working at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital and continued her studies earning her LPN Degree from Southwestern Community College in Creston. Tracy was a beautiful artist who enjoyed painting, doing crafts, gardening, and traveling.
Preceding her in death were her parents. Tracy is survived by her husband Terry Kemling of Red Oak, Iowa; sister Diane Josephson and husband Bob of Marshall, Wisconsin; brother Randy Hansel of Peoria, Illinois; sister-in-law Deb Irvin and husband Mike of Red Oak, Iowa; brother-in-law Larry Kemling and wife Diane of Seymour, Indiana; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation was held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Red Oak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association.
Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
