An unknown vehicle was involved in a hit and run crash sometime on Saturday, July 10, on County Highway U near the intersection of Short Cut Road, outside of Bloomington, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office reported. 

The vehicle left the east side of the roadway, going through a ditch and crashing into a fence causing significant damage. The owner of the vehicle left the scene without reporting the crash. The crash left a large opening in the fence, allowing several cattle to get onto the roadway. 

It is believed the involved vehicle is a Ford, possibly a F150. If anyone has information pertaining to this crash, please contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at (608) 723-2157.
