NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON THE RESOLUTION VACATING THE ALLEY LOCATED ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF LOT 1 OF CRAWFORD COUNTY CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP #636, IN THE CITY OF PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, CRAWFORD COUNTY, WISCONSIN.  

WHEREAS, a Resolution has been introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin held on the 17th day of August 2021, providing that the following alley be vacated:

The 20-foot wide alley running north and south from Blackhawk Avenue for approximately 220 feet along the west side lot of Crawford County Certified Survey Map #636, in the City of Prairie du Chien, Crawford County, Wisconsin.  

WHEREAS, a Lis Pendens has been duly recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Crawford County, Wisconsin as required by law; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, by Resolution has set the time and place for the hearing on said Resolution and ordered that notice of said hearing be published and served as required by law:

NOW, THEREFORE,

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Common Council of the City of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, will meet and act upon said Resolution vacating the aforementioned alley in the City of Prairie du Chien, Crawford County, Wisconsin on the 5th day of October 2021, at 7:00 o’clock PM on said day at the City Council Chambers at 214 East Blackhawk Avenue, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and at such time all interested parties may be present and be heard.
