Marjorie M. “Marge” Moore, 82, of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster. 

She was born on Feb. 27, 1939, in Potosi, the daughter of Arnold and Mildred (Kitto) Kress. Marge attended Bloomington schools. On July 7, 1956, she was united in marriage to Norbert C. “Norb” Moore at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Milwaukee where Norb worked construction. In 1969, the family made their home in Bloomington. Marge enjoyed collecting baby dolls and dumpster diving with Norb. She was a kindhearted person who loved caring for her family. Marge will be greatly missed. 

Survivors include her loving husband, Norb; two grandchildren, Kurt (Janet) and Tanya; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Herbers, Marian Kress, and Judy Limekulher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by a son, Mark (Brenda) Moore; a grandson, Jim Moore; a brother, Edward Kress; and a half-sister, Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 11 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory in Bloomington, with Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial will be in Blakes Prairie Cemetery, Bloomington Township. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
