Randy A. Lewis, 61, of Boscobel, formerly of Wauzeka, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at his residence. 

He was born on Jan. 7, 1960, in Boscobel, the son of Harold and Sophia (Burgus) Lewis. Randy worked at the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien for 34 years, from 1984 to 2018. He enjoyed many summers at Wisconsin Badger Camp. Randy made many friends and memories through the years at both places. He enjoyed going shopping or just for rides, eating sweets and have his pop. He loved to smile, say “Hi,” give hugs and play tricks on everyone. 

Randy in survived by his siblings, Richard (Sharon) Lewis of Boscobel, Jean (Charles) Roghers of Boscobel, Joan (Don) Atkinson of Wauzeka, Charles (Carmen) Lewis of Boscobel; brother-in-law Frank Fuerstenberg of Fennimore, sister-in-law Diane Lewis of Fennimore; a special niece, Darcie (Gilbert) Cisneros and many other nieces, nephews and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Sophia; infant sisters, Florence and Patricia, brother, William, sisters, Maxine Fuerstenberg and Dianne Puckett; nephews, Billy Lewis, Ed Discoll; great-nephews: Brandon Fuerstenberg, Damien Lord, Christopher Atkinson, Timothy Grossheim, Jr.; great-niece, Amy LaDue, and great-great-nephew, Cooper Adams.

The family would like to thank all the people who helped in Randy’s life, co-workers, nurses, doctors, county helpers and special family members. They will hold a special place in Randy’s heart forever. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Century Hall in Wauzeka with burial to follow in the Boscobel Cemetery. Food and fellowship for family and friends will be held at Century Hall immediately following the burial. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Hall Friday morning.
