Daniel T. Goerdt, 64, of Holy Cross passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Mercy One Hospital in Dubuque.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Holy Cross, conducted by Rev. Tyler Raymond. Visitation was before services at the church.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Kramer Funeral Home in Holy Cross  assisted the family.

Daniel was born on June 6, 1959, in Dubuque, the son of Richard and Lois (Leliefeld) Goerdt. He graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1977. He worked construction for many years, and recently delivered the Telegraph Herald newspaper in the Guttenberg area.

Survivors include his mother, Lois; siblings, Julie (Ken) White of Colesburg, Richard Goerdt of New Vienna, Randy Goerdt of Holy Cross, Keith (Polly) Goerdt of Farley, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Joe.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard, in 2010 and sister-in-law, Susie Goerdt.
