Ethelyn Belle Boardman, 101 of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023 at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She was born March 18, 1922 to Ross and Alma (Gauper) Davis in Retreat, Wisconsin.

On Aug. 23, 1946 Ethelyn was united in marriage with Cleatis L. Boardman. To this union two children were born. She enjoyed traveling, being a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, being active and going for walks. Ethelyns greatest joy was spending time with family, friends and grandpups.

Surviving Ethelyn are her daughter, Carol (Don) Manning of Franklin, Wisconsin; son, Rodney Boardman of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; sister, Lila Roberg of Holman, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Ethelyn in death were her husband of forty-nine years, Cleatis Boardman on Feb. 10, 1996; parents, Ross and Alma Davis; and her siblings, Richard Davis, Merle Ryan, Myrtle Granum, Roland Davis and Francis Davis.

A Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, WI.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin with Pastor Hillary Burns-Kite as officiant.

Burial will be at Dickson Cemetery in Lynxville, WI.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien, WI, is assisting the family with arrangements.
