Female wrestlers from North Crawford/Seneca and Boscobel/Wauzeka-Steuben hit the mats at Belmont High School last Friday night as part of the 2025 SWAL-SWC Girls Clash Tournament. Girls teams from the Ridge & Valley and Scenic Bluffs Conferences were added to the tournament this year to help grow the event.

With eight wrestlers, the Boscobel/Wauzeka-Steuben co-op finished in eighth place out of 20 teams with 50.0 points while North Crawford/Seneca with three wrestlers finished 18th with 17.0 points.
Boscobel/Wauzeka-Steuben got a pair of runner-up finishes from Tatum Brudos at 165 pounds and Lexie Lathrop at 235 pounds. Other Hornet placers for the B/W-S coop include Ali Jelinek (seventh place at 107 pounds),  Aalyiah Lathrop (fifth place at 138) and Ava Roth (sixth place at 185 pounds). Just missing placing was Alayna Krachey at 132 pounds.

North Crawford/Seneca got a pair of fifth place finishes from Seneca members Livian Starkey (114 pounds) and Harper Gagas (145 pounds). Regionals begin this Friday night with North Crawford/Seneca assigned to the Richland Center regional while Boscobel/Wauzeka-Steuben will be wrestling at the Mineral Point regional.
