MFL MarMac girls soccer falls to Clayton Ridge and New Hampton

The MFL MarMac girls soccer team dropped a pair of matches to Clayton Ridge and New Hampton last week.
The Eagles scored three times in the first half against the Lady Bulldogs on May 5, and held onto the lead through the second half for a 3-0 victory. Clayton Ridge took 14 shots on goal against MFL MarMac keeper Alexa McElwaine. Eagle goalie Izzy Harbaugh-Scott notched two saves.
On May 9 at New Hampton, the Bulldogs netted their second goal of the season, but couldn’t keep the Chickasaws off the board, losing 4-1. No stats were available at press time.
With the losses, MFL MarMac is now 0-11-1. The team wrapped up regular season play at Postville on May 13.
