Bulldogs face Postville in regular season soccer finale

The MFL MarMac girls and boys soccer teams took on Postville May 13, in their final games of the regular season. 

 

The Lady Bulldogs played to a 1-1 tie with host Postville. In the second half, Pirate Leticia Dahl connected on one of her squad’s nine shots on goal against Bulldog keeper Alexa McElwaine. Avery Lamborn got MFL MarMac on the board a bit later to even the score.

 

The MFL MarMac boys lost 3-0, surrendering a pair of goals to Postville in the opening half, then one in the second. Pirate goalie Zade Brock kept the Bulldogs out of the net three times. 

 

The girls finished the regular season 0-11-2 and faced Postville again on May 19 for the postseason opener. 

 

The boys dropped to 4-6, and began the playoffs at familiar foe Clayton Ridge on May 20.
