Achenbach ends prep career at state

Prairie du Chien senior Owen Achenbach finished his prep career last week by competing in the WIAA Boys Golf D2 State Tournament at University Ridge in Madison.

Achenbach shot an 87 on day one of the meet last Monday. June 9 before ending the tournament with an 89 for a two-day total of 176, which tied him with Cambridge’s Ben Baker for 38th overall out of 52 golfers in the D2 meet.
