There will be a private graveside service held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Guttenberg.

Donald C. Ludovissy, 85, of North Buena Vista, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at his home.

Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 30, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Buena Vista. 

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 31, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Ameyaw and Rev. Marvin Bries.

Nancy Belle (Taylor) Gull died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at the Tower Living Center in Garnavillo at 100 years of age.

Visitation will be held from 9 - 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Garnavillo Gospel Hall where funeral service will commence at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Garnavillo Community Cemetery.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Paul Ameyaw. Visitation was before services at the church.

Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Guttenberg.

Don Irving Wilke, 94 of Elkader passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at the Elkader Care Center in Elkader.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader, conducted by Pastor Paula Anderson.

He was born Sept. 16, 1931, to Elmer and Carrie (Cook) Wilke.

A private family inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Elkader. A Memorial Reception will be held at Johnson’s Reception Hall in Elkader following Mass until 3 p.m.

Robin Rae Ackley Kelso 70, of Rogersville, Ala., passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home after a brave battle with cancer on Aug. 14, 2025.

Robin was born to Glenn and Shirley (Philp) Ackley in Waterloo on June 24, 1955. Formerly from northeast Iowa, she 

attended schools in Garnavillo, graduating from Guttenberg in 1973.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Garnavillo, conducted by Deacon Jim Pfaffly.
