State qualifying meet marks end of season for Central cross country

Payton Stannard completed the state qualifying race in 23:28.6, which was good for 34th.

Jesse Polkinghorn was Central’s top boys finisher in 21st place.

Blair Scherf led Central’s girls contingent, placing 27th with a time of 22:33.8.

Turkey Valley bumps Central out of postseason

The Central volleyball team ended its season against Turkey Valley in a Class 1A - Region 2 first round playoff match-up on Oct. 20. The Warriors came out strong, winning set one 25-17. However, they lost the next three sets with scores of 14-25, 14-25 and 17-25.
