The Prairie du Chien/Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben/Youth Initiative Girls Soccer team hit the road again last Tuesday, April 28 when they traveled to Platteville for a conference match against the Platteville/Lancaster co-op. The hosts scored two first goals in the first half to hold a 2-0 lead at halftime but the Hawks defense kept P/L out of the net in the second half.
Unfortunately for the Hawks, the offense was not able to find the back of the net either and Platteville/Lancaster held on for the 2-0 victory.
The Hawks were back at home last Friday evening to host Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld in a non-conference match. The visitors from Dane County however defeated the Hawks by a score of 5 to 1, PdC dropped to 0-6-2 (0-5-1) with the two losses.
Prairie du Chien/Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben/Youth Initiative is now off until next Tuesday, May 12 when they host MFL MarMac at 5:00 p.m.
