The Prairie du Chien Boys Golf traveled to the Dodge-Point Country Club outside Mineral Point last Saturday, May 9 for the annual SWAL-SWC Cup.

In an event modeled after the Ryder Cup, golfers from schools in each conference compete together to golf in a variety of match play formats.

The SWC Conference won this year’s cup by defeating the SWAL conference 9-7. Results for PdC golfers were: Match no. 4. Brock Folsom and Jaden Mallon (Dodgeville) vs. SWAL’s Brady Haas (Mineral Point) and Caleb McKenna (Argyle/Pec). Result: SWC 5 and 3.

Match no. 6. SWC’s Keaton Achenbach (Prairie du Chien) and Ron Osborn (River Valley) vs SWAL’s Blaze White (Darlington) and Tucker Bethke (Argyle/Pec). Result: AS

The Hawks were back in action at the third SWC Mini-Meet of the season on Thursday, May 14 at Quail Run Golf Course in Richland Center. They head to Reedsburg on Tuesday, May 19 for the SWC Conference Meet at Reedsburg Country Club starting at 9:00 a.m.
