The Prairie du Chien Volleyball team competed in a pair of conference matches last week. First up for the Hawks was a trip to Lancaster last Tuesday, Sept. 15. Prairie du Chien won the first set against the Arrows by the score of 25-23 before Lancaster responded by winning the second and third sets 25-12 and 25-20.

Prairie flipped the script on Lancaster by winning the fourth set 25-20 to send the match to a winner take all fifth set. The hosts would outlast the Hawks in the fifth and final set to 15-13 to claim a 3-2 match victory.

The Hawks were back on their home court last Thursday night to host Platteville and the visitors from Grant County earned a sweep in three sets (25-7, 25-21 and 25-14).

PdC was back on the court last night when they welcomed Richland Center to town for pink night. They hit the road tomorrow night at River Valley and end the week this Saturday when they travel to Richland Center for the Hornets’ annual invitational.
