Hawks drop pair of matches to end regular season

The Prairie du Chien/Seneca/Wauzeka-Steuben/Youth Initiative Blackhawks Girls’ Soccer wrapped up the regular season with a pair of matches.

First up for the Hawks was senior night last Tuesday, May 26 against Platteville/Lancaster. The Hawks honored six seniors - Hannah Fritsche, Addison Kirschbaum, Greta Lenarz, Grace Anderson, Guinevere Steinhorst and Nanuka Schirmer. The visiting Platteville/Lancaster co-op defeated the Hawks 8-0 in the conference finale for both teams.

The Hawks ended the week by traveling to Fields for Kids in La Crosse this past Friday to take on the La Crosse Aquinas Bluegolds in the regular season finale for both teams. The Bluegolds defeated the Hawks by the score of 8-0.

The 17th seed Hawks (0-11-3, 0-8-2) traveled to Clinton on Tuesday, June 2 to take on the 16th seed Clinton/Beloit Turner co-op in the regional quarterfinal round.
