The Prairie du Chien Cross Country team traveled to Maple Grove Venues in West Salem this past Saturday, Aug. 29 to take part in the annual Onalaska Invitational. The boys team did not have enough runners to qualify for the team score, while the girls finished in 10th place out of 11 teams with 256 points.

Senior Lane Henderson was the lone runner for the boys team, finishing in 50th place in a time of 20:49.

The PdC girls team had 10 runners compete in the race, including top finisher junior Kennady Fradette who finished in 33rd place in a time of 24:35. She was followed by Aspen Gelo in 58th (26:46), Briar Smith in 63rd (27:11), Mairany Morales in 73rd (28:43), Alyseia Schnitzler in 74th (28:46), Ellie Kramer in 77th (29:30), Kayli Schnitzler in 87th (31:33), Autumn Ziegler in 90th (33:22), Katelyn Mathies in 94th (36:39) and Lyla Redman in 97th (39:56).

The Hawks head over to the Tri-City Golf & Country Club in Luana this Thursday, Sept. 3 for the annual MFL MarMac Invitational starting at 5:00 p.m before running at the Ryan Zimpel Memorial Meet in Boscobel next Tuesday, Sept. 08 at 4:30 p.m.
