Following a three-set loss at Seneca on Tuesday, Sept. 1, the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets Volleyball team has responded with a pair of conference victories.

First up for the Hornets was a road match against the Weston Silver Eagles on Thursday, Sept. 03.

Wauzeka-Steuben earned the their second match victory of the season thanks to a three-set sweep of the Silver Eagles (25-14, 25-17 and 25-15).

The Hornets opened up their home schedule last Thursday, Sept. 10 against conference rival Kickapoo. Once again it was all Hornets as they earned a three-set victory thanks to set wins of 25-15, 25-20 and 25-13.

Wauzeka-Steuben (3-1 overall, 2-1 in the Ridge & Valley Conference) was at Weston High School last night to take on North Crawford and De Soto in a conference doubleheader. The Hornets are back at home next Monday, Sept. 21 when they host Ithaca starting at 7:00 p.m.
