The Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets Baseball team won a pair of games over the past week and a half but also dropped a pair of games. It all started with the Hornets road game at La Farge on Thursday, April 23, which was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to thunderstorms (with W-S already leading 9-0) before ultimately being ruled a win in favor of Wauzeka-Steuben.

The Pirates added three insurance runs in the fifth inning and one more in the sixth to extend their lead to 9-4, which would end up being the final score.
