Prairie du Chien Waterhawks Swim Team hosts first home meet of 2026

After starting the 2026 season off with a trio of meets on road at Shullsburg, Mineral Point and Lancaster, the Prairie du Chien Waterhawks Swim Team hosted their first home meet of 2026 on Wednesday, June 24 when they hosted Boscobel and Dodgeville and the Waterhawks came away with a first place finish with a combined score of 469.5 points. The Waterhawks placed first on the girls side with 277.5 points, while the PdC boys were in second in the boys rankings with 163 points.

The Waterhawks were led by first place finishes in these events -

Girls 8 & Under 100 LC Meter Medley Relay - 1. Lydia Jerrett, Sydney Slama, Ingrid Igou and Addison Pedretti (2:11.62).

Girls 9-10 100 LC Meter Medley Relay - 1. Charli Bode, Emma Redman, Riley Stark and Brielle Fradette (1:35.09).

The Waterhawks were back in action at the Boscobel Relays Meet last Tuesday, June 30. Final results were not available as of press time. PdC is at the Lancaster Invite this Saturday, July 11 before hosting a home meet with Shullsburg and Richland Center on Tuesday, July 14 at 5 p.m.
