The Prairie du Chien Hawks Boys Golf team ended their regular season last Tuesday, May 19 when they traveled to Reedsburg to compete in the 2026 Southwest Wisconsin Conference Championship Meet at the Reedsburg Country Club (hosted by Lancaster). The Hawks finished with a team score of 373 to place fifth out of six teams.

The leading golfer for the Hawks was senior Brock Folsom, finishing in 12th place with a score of 86. Two places behind Folsom was sophomore teammate Keaton Achenbach with a score of 88. Rounding out the scoring for the Hawks was sophomore Landon Thiry (95) and senior Dylan Baker (104), while junior Mitchell Baker (108) earned a spot in the varsity lineup for the meet.

The Hawks began postseason competition at the Monroe Golf Club in Monroe this past Tuesday, May 26. The first four teams and top four individuals, who are not members of a qualifying team, qualified for the D2 New Glarus Sectional Meet at Edelweiss Chalet Country Club in New Glarus next Tuesday, June 2.
