PdC track teams compete at Richland Center, boys place first at Cuba City

Prairie du Chien Track started off their week last Tuesday, April 28 when they traveled to Richland Center for the first SWC Mid-Season Meet of the year.

No team scores are kept at these mid-season meets but the Hawks did get top-10 finishes from these competitors:
Boys 200 Meter Dash - 7. Adrian Morales (25.34)
Boys 4x100 Meter Relay - 5. Hunter Adamski, Ezra Westbrook, Morales and Darian Jackson (47.94).
Boys High Jump - 4. Westbrook (J5-06.00).
Boys Long Jump - 10. Zach Ross (15-04.50).
Boys Triple Jump - 6. Kaden Kvamme (34-10.25).
Boys Shot Put - 5. Elias Kimbler (36-11.50) and 9. Ross (35-11.50).
Girls 100 Meter Hurdles - 4. Lyla Redman (22.40).
Girls 300 Meter Hurdles - 5. Makenzie Gates (59.90) and 7. Redman (1:08.46).
Girls Long Jump - 9. Abigail Perkins (13-08.00).
Girls Shot Put - 10. Lauren Steiber (23-05.00).
Girls Discus - 8. Fiona Chen (77-04) and 9. Kelly Wagner (77-00).

The Hawks concluded the week two nights later when they competed at the annual Christopher Becker Memorial Invitational at Cuba City High School. The boys team took top honors by placing first out of 17 teams with 114.50 points, while the girls placed 14th with 14.0 points.

Boys 200 Meter Dash - 1. Brock Radloff (22.78) and 5. Garrett DeHart (23.94).
Boys 400 Meter Dash - 5. Landon Smith (54.49).
Boys 800 Meter Run - 1. Sam Kramer (2:03.57).
Boys 4x100 Meter Relay - 1. Morales, DeHart, Ashton Landt and Radloff (45.20).
Boys 4x200 Meter Relay - 2. Radloff, DeHart, Landt and Morales (1:34.21) - both Darlington and the Hawks broke the meet record of 1:34.28 in this event.
Boys 4x400 Meter Relay - 4. Smith, Lane Henderson, Landt and Kramer (3:41.97).
Boys 4x800 Meter Relay - 1. Henderson, Smith, Kvamme and Kramer (8:43.42).
Boys High Jump - 1. Radloff (5-10.00), 3. Westbrook (5-06.00) and T-6. Joey Kramer (5-04.00).
Boys Pole Vault - 4. Easton Cejka (11-00.00).
Boys Long Jump - 1. DeHart (20-02.00) and 5. Landt (18-08.00).
Boys Shot Put - 2. Steven Duha (45-07.50) and 4. Clark Fritsche (41-09.00).

The Hawks were back in action at the Fennimore Invitational this past Monday and yesterday afternoon when they hosted the second SWC Mid-Season Meet. They return to competition on Friday, May 15 at the Sparky Reynolds Meet at Boscobel High School starting at 3:30 p.m.
