Coming off their first conference win of the season on Friday, Jan. 16 at Richland Center, the Prairie du Chien girls basketball team entered last week looking to build momentum off that win.

First up for the Hawks was a visit by former SWAL Large conference rival Cuba City last Tuesday night, Jan. 20. Unfortunately for the Hawks, the night belonged to the Cubans as they defeat Prairie du Chien 64-34.

Prairie du Chien was back on the court two nights later at River Valley and were defeated by the host Blackhawks 67-39.

Stats from both games were not available as of press time as the Hawks fell to 3-10 overall and 1-5 in the SWC with the losses.

Prairie du Chien hosted Belleville this past Tuesday night before they conclude the week by hosting Lancaster this Friday night and traveling to Barneveld this Saturday afternoon as part of a doubleheader at 2:30 p.m.
